De lichtgewicht houten spiraalpomp is als eerste getest en werkt! Het werd al snel duidelijk dat de inlaat nog wat verbetering vergt. Omdat de Roombeek niet zo diep is, kon het rad niet optimaal gepositioneerd worden. Een grotere inlaat zou dit probleem (iets) kunnen verhelpen.<br \/>\nHet tweede team voelt de druk om hun robuuste stalen variant nu ook snel draaiende te krijgen.
